Islamic Studies in the Age of Globalisation: The New Horizonsというセミナー全体のテーマの下、Osman Bakar教授(SOASCISセンター長)、小杉泰教授(ASAFAS)の基調報告を皮切りに、2日間にわたり幅広いトピックについて研究報告、議論が交わされた。
